I'm turning 50 and it’s time to celebrate!
What’s happening?
A party will be held on the evening of Saturday, 3rd October somewhere on the island of Santorini, Greece.
(I’ll be able to let you know exactly where once I have a better idea of numbers.)

Why Santorini?
Because it’s been on my travel bucket list for a very long time and I’ve never made it there - partly because the idea of loads of crowds in the summer season didn’t appeal to me so when my clever daughter suggested going there in the slightly-off-season of October for my 50th, it was a quick decision!
How long will I be there for?
I haven’t booked flights yet but will aim to be there all day on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday as a minimum.
Who else is invited?
So many people I love and adore - perhaps unsurprisingly from many countries around the world! I’ll let you know who’s coming from where once I receive the RSVPs.
What else is happening besides the party?
Other activities will definitely be happening over the few days but, of course, there will be no obligation to join in if you’d rather not. I’ll add all the details to this webpage once I have more details!
Who’s paying for what?
The party on Saturday night is definitely on me… everything else will be up to you! (But keep checking back just in case I win the lottery in between now and then!)
What’s on my gift wish list?
Seriously people, I don’t need anything. If I can see your happy face on the day that will be more than enough for me! Also - I’m cheap and probably won’t even have checked luggage so don’t buy me anything. Please.
When is my actual birthday?
I’m sure you’ve all committed it to memory but just as a reminder, my actual birthday is not until 22nd October but most of Santorini will be closed down by then so I’m sneaking the celebrations in a little early!
